About Me
My passion is storytelling and my goal in life is to become a better storyteller. That passion led me to music, to acting, to comedy and to marketing.
I want to be a marketer who helps tell great stories. Currently, I want experience within the marketing industry to build my skillset and learn from those who know what works.
From keeping up with industry newsletters and podcasts, I am excited by what the future of marketing and hopefully my career, has to hold. Companies are finding innovative and unorthodox ways of spreading their message to the right audience. While the business world is hypnotised by AI possibilities, the best in marketing are proving that algorithms don’t compete with human empathy.
The two areas that excite me the most are branding and strategy. Although I enjoy the more creative roles from my degree, and am well-equipped to take on the more data-driven responsibilities, what I love about brand strategy is how it combines the two practices in order to achieve the best long-term outcomes. Strategy requires a commodity that AI tools don’t have. Judgement.
I’m hoping that my broad range of experiences, both working and creative, have given me a unique perspective and the potential to grow into an effective marketer. My strategy is to find more experience within marketing so that my judgement will be worth having.
